Play-Light Photographic Services is run by husband and wife team Jo and Karl Robertson. Karl deals with the Play-Light Commercial; business, library and editorial. Play-Light Weddings are handled by both Jo and Karl a winning combination which gives you two photographers for the price of one.
Karl has been a professional photographer since 1996. After leaving the University of Northumbria at Newcastle with a Degree in Media Production, Karl worked as a Director of Photography on several Pop promos, before moving into studio based portraiture with Olan Mills, Venture, And Davies Color. In 1996 Karl joined Image Photo Services of Miami and began working on Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships for four years doing weddings, portrait and social photography. It was during this time that Karl learned the ins and outs working with families, pets and models. Karl specialize in getting spontaneous and natural images even out of teenagers.
Jo studied and completed Photography in the Arts BA(Hons) at Swansea University and then went on to work for Image Photo Services, Miami.
